Terms and Conditions for the Laban for Animators™ Program Beta

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. BY ENROLLING IN THE LABAN FOR ANIMATORS™ PROGRAM BETA ("PROGRAM"), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOUR REGISTRATION IN THE PROGRAM CONSTITUTES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS.
1. Ownership and Copyright: The Laban for Animators™ Program, including all program materials, handouts, videos, and any related content, is the intellectual property of Leslie Bishko ("Instructor") and Laban for Animators™ ("Copyright Owners"). All rights to these materials are reserved by the Copyright Owners. By enrolling in this Program, you acknowledge and agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights or licenses to the program materials, handouts, videos, or any related content.
2. License to Participants: The Copyright Owners grant enrolled participants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the program materials solely for personal learning and participation in the Program. This license does not permit any form of reproduction, distribution, sharing, or public display of the program materials, whether in part or in whole, without prior written consent from the Copyright Owners.
3. Restrictions: Participants agree to the following restrictions:
a. You shall not share, distribute, or make available to others any program materials, handouts, videos, or related content provided as part of the Program.
b. You shall not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Program materials.
c. You shall not use the Program materials for any commercial or for-profit purposes without prior written consent from the Copyright Owners.
4. Recording of Zoom Sessions: During the Program, Zoom sessions may be recorded for educational purposes. By participating in these sessions, you grant the Copyright Owners permission to record and use your image, voice, and contributions in these recordings. These recordings may be made available to enrolled participants for reference and learning purposes. The recordings may also be used by the Copyright Owners for promotional or educational purposes, in which case the recorded segments used will feature the Instructor only, without participants.
5. Termination of Access: The Copyright Owners reserve the right to terminate your access to the Program, without refund, if they reasonably believe that you have violated any of the terms and conditions outlined herein. In such cases, you shall cease all use of the Program materials immediately.
6. Disclaimers: The Program materials are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Copyright Owners shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the Program materials.
7. Changes to Terms and Conditions: The Copyright Owners may, at their sole discretion, modify or revise these terms and conditions. Any changes will be posted on the Program website, and it is your responsibility to review these terms periodically. Your continued enrollment in the Program after any changes indicate your acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver.
By enrolling in the Laban for Animators™ Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
